We use Ahrefs a lot, but more for the long-term story than immediate ROI. It’s been really helpful when I need to show how content builds authority and compounds over time, even if the short-term conversion impact isn’t super clear.

We ran into this exact issue internally. The tools that helped prove content ROI were different depending on who was looking at it. SEO liked Ahrefs for authority and organic growth, leadership looked more at Similarweb for market movement, and demand gen cared more about GA plus conversion reporting. In practice, proving ROI usually meant pulling data from a few different tools rather than relying on one platform.
